and snow, passing through Thame and reaching Everest Base Camp, Phinjo's experience as a porter and porter
for foreign mountaineers inspired him to climb the mountain. He climbed Mount Everest for the first time in
1991. After that, he set a world record by successfully climbing Mt. Everest 5 times from 1985 to 2004.
He has made the name of Nepal and Nepalis known to the world by placing the flag of Nepal on the summit of
Mt Everest during the ascent. This action not only encouraged him but also gave him an opportunity to be
known all over the world. His journey did not stop there. He also managed to climb other mountains with a
height of 8 thousand meters.
As there is usually a rush of mountaineers in 3 seasons every year, climbing mountains with mountaineers
from different countries, guiding trekking, climbing mountains, and playing with the coldness of snow was
like his daily life. During the difficult journey of mountain climbing, he not only collected many bitter-
sweet experiences but also succeeded in introducing Nepal and Nepali people to the whole world.
Even now he is active in trekking guide and social service. To avoid poverty and scarcity, Phinjo's work
as a porter, which started with the compulsion to earn money by carrying heavy loads of foreign tourists,
has made Phinjo known as a successful mountaineer, tourist guide and social worker.
Phinjo is also very active in social service. On his own initiative, many development works have been done
in Wedding. With his activism, a 16 km national power The transmission line has been delivered from Upper
Tamakosi to Wedding. Wire netting has been done for embankment in wading river. He also contributed to the

from Veding village to Na village, Chho Rolpa Himtal is progressing. However, Wedding, which is full of comp
lications and hardships, has not yet been provided with transportation facilities.

Mountaineer Phinjo got married to Lhamu Sherpa in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Village 7 Ki Ming. Since Fhinzo
was often busy climbing mountains, the household was run by Mingma Lhamu Sherpa. His main job was to entert
ain the guests who came to the Dingbuche guest house, provide accommodation, and arrange food and drink.
Mingma, who has a cheerful nature but likes to talk less, is really hardworking and energetic. The experie
nce of running hotels and lodges near Lubuche Everest Base Camp in Everest National Park has helped Phinzo
and Mingma a lot in running the guest house in Dingbuche. Mingma and Finjo have three sons, Sonam Tasi,
Tasi Darje, and Grimon Dorje. Now he and his family are living in their own guest house at Dingbuche near
Everest base camp.
People who want to enjoy social life more than personal life should build their own village, without the
development of the village, the standard of living of the people cannot be raised. Everyone's heart is
touched by his idea that one should not only look for profit in all work, but also serve the society. If
I do not take initiative for the development of my village, who will? If I had not been ahead, there would
have been no electricity in the village. Neither the telephone tower stood. Nor was there a health post.
No school was established.
And if I don't take the initiative for my village, outsiders will do it? His philanthropic work and thought
s like this will inspire anyone to visit the 'Mountain Climber's Village' i.e. Wedding.
Phinjo, who came here after struggling a lot in his lifetime, has been honored and decorated by various
organizations and even the government of Nepal in recognition of his contribution. Internationally known
as a mountaineer, Phinzo Sherpa Gorkha Dakshin Bahu 3rd 2059, National Service Award 2074, Mount Everest
Service Medal, Ministry of Tourism, Nepal Mountaineering Association Service Medal, Mount Everest Service
Medal, Bhugumba Service Medal, etc. .
Phinzo, who was influenced by the social service of his father, a social worker, Ngangde Lama, seems to be
of a religious nature. He is also a follower of Buddhism and philosophy.
Due to the inspiration of Gangde Lama, he is thinking of serving the society until he lives. Phinzo Sherpa,
a mountaineer, trekking entrepreneur and social worker, who has passed the age of 66, feels that he should
do something good in life. Even now he is sincerely active in social service. During the social service,
the federal capital Kathmandu and Wedding keep going back and forth.
While living in the city, Phinjo's daily life is spent in the branches and branches of the ministries and
government offices inside the Singha Darbar with the files of the village's development plan, while living
in the village, he spends his days active in taking guides and local development work.
He believes that Rolwaling Wedding Village, Chho Rolpa Himtal and Dudhkund area, which are known as organi
c tourist spots near the federal capital Kathmandu, can be Widely publicized as excellent hiking spots,
which will lead to rapid development in tourism development. He wishes that the attention of the relevant
agencies would have received in time. Best wishes to Phinjo for the rest of his life for his tourism promo
